Like Butterflies in the Sky

 

Scurrying along,

Inch by slithering inch.

Dreams are birthed,

Ever feeling the itch.

 

Around and around,

The butterflies gingerly swirl.

In beautiful colors,

On the breeze, whirl.

 

Light catches

Gentle fluttering wings.

Highlighting the source

Of the beauty life brings.

 

Tiny and fragile,

Yet, high up do they go.

Alive to thrive,

At times, settling low.

 

Sunlight kiss the colors,

Awash with beauty of the Maker.

Soaring just above the sea,

Flying through the tides breaker.

 

Love in their wings,

Colors vivid from way up high.

Dreams come true,

Like butterflies in the sky.
