Holy Spirit Dwelling

Holy Spirit Dwelling

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Holy Spirit Dwelling

The grace to sustain

In turbulent seas.

The mercy to lend,

Delving into me.

A wave in water,

A boat sailing.

A way making,

Never failing.

I’m lowly and ashen,

But He’s my strength.

I’m broken down,

But He’s my peace.

Holy Spirit in me,

My Helper always.

Forever present

Never far away.

Lifting way up

To God on high.

Ushered prayer

Of my cries.

Living inside,

He is in me,

In the Father

I am in He.

Living inside

For the telling,

Fully present,

Holy Spirit dwelling.
