He Knew...

 

He knew…

            Before He created the world.

            Before He said, “Let there be light.”

            Before a drop of dust came to be.

            Before there was time.

 

He knew…

            There would be a fall

            That would go against His will.

            That His creation

            Would give Him to be killed.

 

He knew…

            What would happen

            To all of mankind.

            That His creation

            Would be His demise.

 

He knew…

            When He sent His Son,

            That He would be tortured and crucified.

            An act of true love

            Embodied in Jesus Christ.

 

He knew all of this…

            And He still made a way.

            God, outside of time, saw the full view.

            He had the perfect plan

            To save me and you!
