The House Where Love Dwells

The House Where Love Dwells

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

The house where love dwells

Is forever built on sure, solid ground.

The Rock of ages tells.

His strong hand hails

From His throne where He abounds.

The house where love dwells.

Open is the veil,

For Christ’s sacrifice astounds.

The Rock of ages tells.

Like a wind unto sails,

So is the soul that He surrounds.

The house where love dwells.

His wrists bore nails,

For in Him were our sins doused.

The Rock of ages tells.

From His deep love well,

Jesus lives inside of His children now.

The house where love dwells,

The Rock of ages tells.
