Eternity

Eternity

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Eternity

Where would I be without You?

What would be the purpose of life?

No hope to be seen in my eyes.

I’d know nothing true.

My end would be pain

Without Your love,

I’d never be enough.

My shelter from the rain?

Behold, Your mercy came

In Your Son, Jesus Christ.

I am redeemed by His blood.

Your life, You gave

So I too could rise,

My soul, eternity shall flood!
