"Live Smiling"

I've seen the golden mornings

and I've felt the cold steel rain.

I remember all the joy 

And I remember all the pain.

I've heard the precious laughter

of a child hard at play.

I've seen the twinkling stars at night 

and lazy summer days.

I've loved and lost and loved again

just to make things right.

I've felt the sting of loneliness

and I've felt the warmth at night.

I've known the days of happiness

and I've known the days of crying.

But today I choose to thank the lord

and live my life

by smiling.
