I looked upon

a Summer's day...

and in my thoughts

come what may.

For life it seemed

stood still in time...

and dreams of you

came to mind.

Smiling gently

I softly thought

for in my mind

was beauty wrought.

And deeper still

this world to find

that peace and joy

were always mine.
