"Chains That Bind"A Poem by Night
I beg to differ said I, for I disagree we thee behind these prison walls I live yet truly am I free. Now you might say that I'm the one who's really doing time but search your heart for the truth and this you might just find. That you've been bound in this life by chains you cannot see a prison of your own design invisible to thee. Tell me then the secret of your freedom, asked the man fill me with your wisdom help me to understand. The secret's not a secret but a gift from God above it's belief in His son Jesus, and by walking in His love. Thank you said the man, and my apology to thee for it is I who am the prisoner a truth that I now see. Apology accepted and this truth I pray you'll find to believe in His son Jesus will break the chains that bind. Thank you and God bless...Night.2012 © 2012 Night |
