"Your Word"

There's something I hold deep inside

it's foolish anger and selfish pride.

It's the Word of God that moves my soul

to start anew and forget the old.

From unkind deeds to harsh words spoken

you've healed the heart that once was broken.

You've changed the way I look at life

no more anger, no more strife.

I've finally found a way to live

a way to love, a way to give.

Once I was blind but now I see

Father, it's your Word that comforts me.
