I gazed upon a neon night

and soon my thoughts did wander

Could the beauty of this night

be anything but splendor.

I slept upon a morning dew

and still my thoughts did wander

Could the beauty of this day

be anything but splendor.

I found myself in love with you

again my thoughts did wander

Could the beauty of your love

be anything but splendor.

I thought of life and all it means

of love and you and laughter

Because I'm loved within this life

I count it all as splendor.
