"Darkness"

I saw the Darkness look my way

I've see his face before.

In days when Faith and Hope were dim

And Life a broken door.

Though he never was a friend

In shadows I did find...

That Darkness has it's place in Life

 Helping us to shine.

And in that magic moment

I saw Darkness as my friend.

For I've become a brighter Light

In a world that has no end.

The darkness in my life has made me who I am today.......a better man for sure.....but one must look at the darkness as an inevitable in ones life....then we use that time as stepping stones instead of stumbling blocks........=)
