In Every Need

In Every Need

A Poem by Butch Decatoria

In Every Need

nothing seems to slow down

lost count of bad memories,

can't afford good ones;

all the while waiting for this life

to be defined

an imperfect story

with an un-perfect truth

death is kin to losing sight

i touch walls not finding any windows

nothing is real but the texture of a kiss

all sense gathered

to make wonderful realities,

each new fragmented choice

a word in a book, a lost page,

a chapter in a life

i am a hero in one touch

a villain in another's

something seems to always give

sometimes without a fevered reason

hope is boundless, as well is love,

leave it to those who can see

and those who can read

meanings in an imperfect deed

love is in every need....

yet love needs nothing but to be.

An array of feelings and emotions. always something gives, always something gets painted in our memories. a two way street, is all we hope for, but sometimes, we are stuck in a one way alley, driving the opposite direction..
