High School Poem #4 - Dinner & A KissA Poem by Butch Decatoriai found myself holding my breath, dazed--at how new this could be, this wonderful fumbling for words admittance of eyes, listless dinner & a kiss.
i confide to you that i will hang by your every spit make you my muse hold you--to your promises your stretched out hand catching the scent of oils on your wrists, i could scream just by the friction oh how my body feels
tonight is suddenly a better world...
i find myself in mad mazes fierce thoughts, of sunset skins, of surreal sexual showers; of how astounding it could be in the glaze of your Scorpio eyes, your noble iron-form now that your tongue slides across my upper lip
i am pressurized, a laugh that wants to be named opened so that the world can catch (the pattern) of what it's like to be written in a smile to be conquered by a kiss
the world is sudden / better / tonight... © 2008 Butch DecatoriaReviews
