High School Poem #7 : Everyday

High School Poem #7 : Everyday

A Poem by Butch Decatoria

i love it when you spend the night

     when i sneak you out

     in the mystic morning

and that goodbye kiss

kindred to blight and bliss

     is fuel which keeps me

     through the monstrous day

i love it when our stomachs touch

     treasure trails that parallel

and your airy arms, devout

holds the lonely winter out

     heals this seclusion's cut

     heightens my new formed crave...

i love your aqua-colored stare

     pierces me askew

     even in my sleep

your epicurean eyes, regarding deep

     looks thru' in dreams

men in love, in love's premiere

i adore you, in my underwear

even better when you are there

     whatever clothing i don't care,

rather to hear your voice

everyday

that you are there...
