Stop.

Stop.

A Poem by Butch Decatoria

Stop.

I felt you stop loving me.

Emotions like a glass of liquid memories

s. h. a. t. t. e. r. e. d.

I felt you stop. caring less

if at all, due to my sickness my mind's disturbance,

instead of affection you are sorry

apethetic as if at fault

I felt you resent me even

like inheriting an old red-barn  farm,

once had Summers running through

dandelions as a child's favorite

vacation,

now unfertile soil to sow alone

resenting the effort put, but feel

obligated...

I felt you stop loving me

avoiding my touch

as if contagious of some affliction

shallow death and instant

sorrow - devoid of joy

save for a glass of memories

s. h. a. t. t. e. r. e. d.

felt   you   stop

catching me

                      so so sorry...
