Go.A Poem by Butch DecatoriaI have not left. Still, my instincts tell me to Go. Unleash. Release the weight of binds that tie with nautical knots like chinese finger traps unable and unwilling to let Go.
There's no E.T.A. or departure to Go. Yet I am nervous to stay, second nature calling from the wilderness of wide unknowns, streets with unfamilal names urging my bones to flesh to Go, unbuckle the hold that has us - accessories to stabilize that which I attach to - like a belt or a shoe or two for tea for pairs Friends familiar with a smile a warm embrace of truth driving thru food for thought to Go.
I will not falter, although I am afraid the voices in my head say Go. But my common sense and devotion to us, keep us close argues that I must stay to watch over us - no more goes doubt - it is insane to Go. Because I am needed, more over wanted to be the towel for your glistening stress the stitching to wounds redressed the calm before and yes, even after I am made to Go, with the commotion of midnight thunder and closing eye of our storms, I will conquer our collected fears I will keep the faith to stay with us, at home... I will naught Go. Because I love you so...© 2013 Butch DecatoriaReviews
