Fortunate F****tA Poem by Butch DecatoriaI guess I've been Lucky when it comes to receiving blows, hate mail or discrimination's dagger by means of wispy words' thievery
I must be a fortunate f****t inexperienced at first hand bashings but have off-handedly listened or second-hand read how a boy in fields of whey & wheat
became a barbed wired, bruised scarecrow red, inartistic smile & blackened eyes almost made clown-like but limp of life, flounced about and broken bones
makes me gladd I'm a creature of the city's teeth, chafed by fears and drive-bys or gang initiate proving his brass knuckles-hardened by locked closets
I guess I've been Lucky without having received such scars but those left by my pink brothers' rainbow love--I can't seem to heal
another man's heart although functional gaywardly bounces like a thief without a limit to steal here's hoping marriage spells relief.
(No on *8 if you please)
free to choose, for me You for you, no one business ... But still constitutionally free...
{*proposition #8, to negate the passing of a law that allows same-sex marriage, to say yes would mean that marriage would not be allowed to another human being that has love in his or her heart for his or her fellow man, lover, husband, wife... we stop ourselves from love?? why the hell for??}
