Naked Were The Bad Intentions, Happening

Naked Were The Bad Intentions, Happening

A Poem by Butch Decatoria

Those bad intentions were palpable

like vultures circling above the weak

foreshadowing an event, they drool and wait

with eyes agape as how lemurs seek

It can be felt like the jacuzzi steam

three sets of ladels in the soup, that early morning

one worried and not seen and barely heard

above a complimenting, bubbling scene

yet no one notices what is obvious and astute

that needle-point-tiniest of tempests

a darkness like heavy puppet strings

because a higher cause in their ears deafening

heralds shadows by its gathering

stealthy sloth of "so says we"

power in numbers upon one wise seat

possibly a decision to be - set free

Because his love is alien or unworn

new and unfamiliar robes for hungry moths

thinks the senility of historic frost

stop and feel that intention's chilling now

They scatter like roaches to sudden light

after common sense settles quickly

apologies should have been vowed and dealt

instead detour to subjects easier felt

who knows what plan forwarded or gay was set on him

but human is not a fashion to disregard on a whim

tho' naked were those bad intentions, happening...
