No Words

No Words

A Poem by Butch Decatoria

What can I verbalize out loud

to equal the storm inside

the wonderous magic in your eyes

when you smile

sunlight opens the sky

and your laughter, like winged songs

fill the world with such bliss

There are no words to equal this

musing turned manic of a man-boy newly loving

fears to tread on the water's edge

even as you catch my hand

guiding us away from choppy deeps

my worries are always accompanying

my insecurity - a brand burned

within my chest, yet unflinching

even when we breathe fires of angry dunes

formiddable foes and mirage surrounding

I am eased by your presence

a peace of mind - all worth while

no words can be lauded to heaven's eyes

to show you my heart's pith

I must simply open it or die

no words can feel this, or equal its cry...

Heart break and need...

I must simply open it or die
no words can feel this, or equal its cry...
