Wilderness

Wilderness

A Poem by Butch Decatoria

In a manner that speaks accidents

automobile crashes into a wall - such words shrieks

tires' rubber burns like stench of tar pits - their eyes have the intention

of sinking my edge-wise, words I grit to want to speak

they have the round-about demeanor of trafficked or laundered monies

imported spies / live-in chaos / nannies

with the responsibilities to cradle our shared moments here

they have hired themselves as public speakers / Leaders

in a manner speaking  with lamented liesure

and lies.
