White Rose

Jet planes roar over
Slowly ascending into blanketed skies,
Disappearing like the visage of a lone car
Simmering across an empty desert during
The fullest moment.

The dream caught into vision,
Wide eyes, glass and complete.

Lightly browned hair dangles ever so,
Brushing burden shoulders.
The hands of Anael coarse chilled
Fingers and heavy palms-
She glistens a cracked smile,
Savored and sullen like the bridge
Of separate islands.

I am stolen in her.
