I question what keeps pulling me back to you

After everything that we dealt with,

After all the problems we made for each other.

I can't seem to figure out what draws me to you.

We break up and i think,

"I'm done with him, i'm not going back to him"

But when i see you sitting there,

My head fills with thoughts of you,

Of us,

Of what we used to be,

And when you glance back at me,

I wonder if you're thinking about me,

I wonder if you still love me the way i still love you.

I heard you have a girlfriend,

Does she give you what i never did?

Does she make you feel a certain thing i never could?

Is she prettier than me?

It's hard to let go of someone you truly love and when you do let go of them you always end up circling back because you have questions you want answered.

I have been through heartbreak over and over again so I understand this poem. My most recent ex-girlfriend and I were together for a year and a half and she was the first girl to accept me when I moved by my dad. It was hard when we broke up but I moved on and I am happy I did because if I didn't I wouldn't have met the girl that I am with right now. you just have to lay back and wait because the right person is around the corner.
