SimpleA Poem by PoetryPenPalSimple The clouds that drift though the
air,
An empty room with a single chair,
A checkered pattern with red and
black squares,
A darkened hallway with echoey
stairs.
A dotted line with a single dot,
A short story without a plot,
A single fact you forgot,
A single car in an empty lot.
A lost emotion,
A strange devotion,
A single ingredient to a potion,
Motionless waves in an ocean.
How could something so simple Be so hard to comprehend. © 2014 PoetryPenPalReviews
