A poem regarding loss

Sometimes things happen that defy imagination-
the very baddest of things;
things that permanently change us as human beings.

In each life on this earth none can be so high as to be untouchable.

Cold facts as be;
Icy cold real hard facts that make who we were,
someone else.

Not seeing time anymore for what it is-
not noticing the same things as before;
not knowing much about the new person we have become.


Eventually
time regains its place -
though its not the same.
things can never be the same.

At some point the learning begins;
after the unanswerable questions drop below the surface.

Strength knows it must come slowly
strength builds as more is learnt about how to move on-

Not to forget-
never could forget.
Could only love more
those lost to our lives;

who are reborn inside our strength-
and live with us each day from then on.

Very interesting writing here and very deep in meaning too. I am surprised that the people in this forum has not noticed it yet. Yes, life is the same for everyone, no matter who we are, no matter how safe we think we are. The benefits but also the ravages of time, we all experience. The loss of loved ones also hit us with the most indescribable effects. What should then make the difference between the ones among us who can continue with even more strength and grace, and the others?
