Sunset of colors and strife

Painted into the sky, the colors of gray, yellow, rosy pink, violet, and dark blue create the awe inspiring sunset in the valley of the desert above the heart of the skyscraper mountain, sand dunes rippling from the heated winds. Saguaros covered with the prickly grassed needles, pocking at any unfortunate victim to stick with till the very end till surgically removed from the epidermis, or the soul of the foot, or the palm of thy hand.

Author's Note

Ha, ha, I just came up with this when going to dinner and looked out towards the horizon of Az and was inspired to write this :) Yeah, the ending was a bit painful (litteraly, thorns hurt!)
