Friend

Dedicated to a long-time friend of mine, it’s an aging thing.

My best mate’s name is Roger,
Who uses his charm as a cover,
He’s gilded and quite the artful dodger,
From three heart attacks he did recover,
And he’s far from dead the old codger.
