The Mind

A poem summarising the complexities of the human mind, emphasizing the importance of mental health awareness, it’s impact and influences on society.

A human mind, is akin to a fission-fusion space,

Where one's thoughts, ideas, and dreams take place,

Synthesising neuron sparks, as though in a race,

Wherein the brain keeps all reasoning in sequence.

 

An idle mind is one lost in inadvertence,

Absent of human consciousness and awareness,

That fosters boredom and inattentiveness.

From there, the Devil's work attains success.

 

When a mind swirls out of control, as it can do,

Darkness or depression becomes a worrisome issue,

Feelings of sadness and low mood can appear too,

Such conditions are often seen as a social taboo.

 

But a clear mind sustains its powerful sway,

Leading people through each and every day,

Inspiring them in sleep, rest, work, or fray,

Rewarding every effort in a wholesome way.

 

Mental health depends on the state of one's mind,

Succouring each person with their daily grind,

Conscious thoughts affect the mobility of mankind,

Animating from within the brains of humankind.
