So little
To you
That I can’t
Even get
An explanation?

Was everything
A lie
There was never
Hope?

You said
You don’t want
To play with
My feelings
And yet
You did

You made
Me believe
I had
A chance
That you
Still cared
That everything
Was a
Misunderstanding

And now
I sit
Surrounded
By tears
Drowning
In loneliness
Believing
I’m not
Good enough
To be loved.
