Carry On

Am I sure I want to do this
It feels so right to me

Confused am I, no question
What answers do I seek

To find out, I must keep searching
A journey, in which to take

A choice I've made, and stand by
No regrets from this day forward

So guide me and protect me
Bless me for another day

I will not give up on what I'm looking for
So do not ask me to do such

Here I go, I'm doing this
No matter what you say

To completion, I must see this through
Regardless of outcome

I may just have the memory
But it's what keeps me strong

To give up on what I'm feeling
Is to ignore what once had been

I feel the presence of that memory
And in that moment I'm fullfilled

So carry on, of course I must
Never to give up on myself

I feel my answers will be coming
And then I, for once, can finally rest
