STAY STRONG

STAY STRONG

A Story by Leviathus Fortes

There is magical little town, where the streets are made of water.
A picturesque, tranquil village, of what most people can only dream.

Build upon a network of narrow canals, the neighborhood is enchanting
Even the postman delivers mail by punt.

Thatched-roof cottages, wooden bridges
And the soft rays of the sun.

Singing birds, quaking ducks
The loudest sounds that you will hear.

Close your eyes and imagine
Yourself gently drifting...

No worries and no cares
Only blessings everywhere
No person is riddled by an insecurity

Except one little girl
Who wished to only see the world
She felt trapped
And only wanted to feel free

Stuck in the same place
A sad look upon her face
And a heart inside, just screaming
"I want more!"

Dreams she'd yet to see
Her goals so incomplete
A tear drop ran down
And kissed upon her cheek

"Would she ever dare?"
A question, always there
"To venture from the safety of her home?"

"Someday, I'll be old
And many times, as I've been told
You must believe
And step outside your comfort zone

What's holding you here still
Is lack of faith in your own skill
Embrace your craft
And it can take you anywhere"

Perhaps this seed of doubt
Is what it's really all about
God gave a gift
So please don't use it sparingly

You can change the world
And every little boy and girl
Will find strength
In how you've shared of just your heart

Better, to explain
Like a picture, in a frame
There is always more
Than what does meet the eye

An image sitting still
But a moment, captured, filled
And a memory
That always shall remain

A heart that will grow warm
A soul rescued from storm
Happiness alive
Awake and free

So please, do not be scared
Even if you're unprepared
There is someone always watching over you

To take you by the hand
Lead you to a destined plan
Your birthright
Accept it, oh, so willingly

Concept of time?
Who knows how long?
Keep of these words, please, keep
STAY STRONG
And allow His favor to fall upon you

Anointing and a Grace
Taken to a better place
The future there
Just reach out your hands to hold

Never will He fail
And together, you'll prevail
It takes only of these
Faith, trust and patience

So give to Him your pain
And His blessings you will gain
He loves you and He wants you to be saved

Will you walk with Him inside
It was you, for whom He died
A sacrifice
A gift He gave away

Tell Him of your need
Ask in faith, truly believe
It has been given
And He'll hand it unto you

A promise not to break
But if you make of a mistake
He will forgive
And work for you behind the scenes

Without ceasing, keep of prayer
Just let go, be still, He's there
He will carry you
Whenever you can't stand

So, please, be not afraid
Your future plan, already made
Do not trust the pain
Simply trust in Him

Wipe all tears from your eyes
He will make good, He cannot lie
Walk in faith
And He will always answer prayer

If you feel lost, not quite yourself
He is waiting, ask for help
He'll build you stronger
Through transition
That's His way

And although you will be scared
You'll become better, more prepared
To receive of love
So unconditionally

He listens to your choice
Not jut spoken, inner voice
The heart, the mind
Even in a tear

He can hear each form of speech
Nothing can escape His reach
Humble yourself
And ask for guidance everyday

But you must weather of this storm
To be redeemed, yes, be reborn
You shall arise
Just like a Phoenix from the flame

And when you reach that door
Walk through
He's opened it for you
None who try could ever shut once again

The father, son and holy ghost
Who gives love to you the most
Is knocking at your heart
Please let Him in
