Part of the Play - SongsA Poem by Prashant ChaitaliPart of the PlayVerse 1 Even I don’t know, even you don’t know, Why we come and why we go. Why we break and why we mend, Why we lose and love again. Why do tears fall from our eyes? Why do smiles so often hide? What’s the meaning of these emotions Drifting like the changing tides? Pre-Chorus Why do we act, why do we pretend? Why do we wound, why do we mend? Every question in my soul Echoes where no answers go. Chorus Maybe it’s all just part of the play, Roles we were given before our first day. Lines we deliver, paths that we choose, Wins that we carry, truths that we lose. Still in the dark, I follow my heart, Dancing through life in this infinite art. Verse 2 Though I know it deep inside, My conscience turns away to hide. My thoughts still chase the light, My vision wanders out of sight. My mind keeps searching for a sign, Tracing meaning through all time. Yet no reason comes to me, Only what I feel to be. Bridge No cause, no proof, no grand design, Just a pulse that says you’re mine. And though I question endlessly, Love still writes my destiny. Final Chorus Maybe it’s all just part of the play, Still I keep living day by day. No perfect answer, no clear why, Just a restless heart and an open sky. Even without a reason in sight, I choose this love… I choose this life.
