Against All Odds

Against All Odds

A Poem by Kaitlin Siobhan

 There's a beautiful girl

only people between us.

Caught my breath when I first saw her.

Taken, she is,

but not title bound.

i've got her pinned

between frosted grass and me

and all i want

all i need is for her to kiss me

frozen air, stuck in time

stand tall and we dance

tip toe around emotions

will it end up somewhere?

just a fling?

some kind of lust?

some kind of thing?

take me somewhere magical

i want magical miracles with you

and i want real

sick of missing pieces

sick of half hearted

can this new bring something

something true

so soon?

can this be true

can this be real?

or just a moment in time

beautiful girl leaves a skip

skipping beats

and with fingers entwined

the feeling of your lips on mine

what am i to do?

first instinct

to fall for you.
