There are parts of you that I need

When the light has gone

And all that’s left is the dark

They’re your eyes, I need to see

Your arms, I need to keep me safe

And your words to remind me that I’ll be okay

When I’m caught up in this place

 

There’s a part of you that I need

Without it I am searching blindly down an empty road

With twists and turns that go where no one knows

It’s a hand I need, to pull me back to me feet

When I fall and scrape my knee

It’s your heart I need and it’s the love inside
