Just Silence

The day is over, the moon is out
The few stars visible, twinkling
A cool breeze stirs the air
And I am alone

Alone in my thoughts
My fears and my dreams
No-one beside me to share
In my life

My life fragmented
Into years, months and weeks
Each one a story
Never to be told

If told, how sad
The emptiness and tears
No-one to hear
Just silence
