Forgotten

A poem about being forgotten

I wish I wasn’t forgotten.

Because it makes me feel rotten.

I had many people forget about me.

I’m just that girl that doesn’t matter.

I sometimes wish I could shatter.

Then there starts the laughter.

Which makes me sad and I start to cry.

Then I feel like I wanna die.

Even though people ask me why.

I tell them I just wanna fly high in the sky.

Because I’m forgotten by many.

And that’s plenty.
