Beauty Devine

Beauty never lasts long .

Her beauty devine

Her sculptured features

Her lips that of rose petals

Her skin so fair

Her eyes that of precious emeralds

But everyone knows,

Such beauty never lasts

I wish she could look upon my eyes

I wish she could freeze in time

I wish,

I wish she could be forever mine

I could look upon her everytime I pass

I could touch her etched face

I could kiss her lips so fair

All this over centuries

I'll never be alone again

Oh beauty devine

Why can't you forever be mine?
