I met a guy today that literally represents the physical description of Aphrodite's Adonnis...

An Adonnis,

mere perfection.

As if there was such thing...

as "Mere-Perfection"

Eyes of ever changing pools

from sea green, to mint blue.

Dimples that would drive any woman crazy.

A smile that disarms.

A face that is meant to adore.

But atop a man's body there is no denying there.

Tall, equallly built,

your legs, and arms,

hang to your sides at the ready,

like the shot of a pistol

and BAM! You'd be off into the water,

swimming those strokes powerfully

with your long strides.

Youre torso, so powerfully framed,

a nice body you've been given.

You complain about those five pounds

around your midsection.

WHAT???

I wouldn't have even noticed them

unless you pointed them out!!

Are you kidding?
Do you know your gorgeousness?

I could photograph you for hours,

and stll have more material to work with

You don't know the character that lies in the creases

of your smile.

These are the times I wish I could sketch.

For hours I would pore over your face,

chest,

arms,

hehehehe,

and lower to your legs.

I would sketch your whole body with beauty and precision

And I would have your beauty etched in my mind.

Dear Adonnis,

You have captivated my eyes,

made my tongue swell and go dry,

my heart has palpitated two extra beats everytime you smile at me.

And yes, certain parts of my body,

grow warm,

when your arm brushes up against mine.

This came to me after a first date with a guy who was trully interested in me because I was beautiful to him (didn't care about my weight) he loved that I was smart, and he loved my conversational abilities, we had a fun time together and I couldn't help but thinking about how beautiful he was. So...perfect looking, when I mentioned how gorgeous he was, he stammered out a thanks and that he didn't really think so. I was shocked. Anyways this is just a pure enjoyment piece. Critique all you want but I don't really care.
