Skin on film

Skin on film

A Poem by Sarah McKeever Hitt

Rampant.

My emotions,

fears, obscenities are blissfull in their indulgence.

They run rampant for you.

Skin on film.

Flash.

Crash and burn.

See-through walls  constructed by your hand.

Breathe in through nose.

One, two, three times if I am lucky

Pursuit never ending

as the moon circles the earth.

I appear desperate for you.

Cling

hold on tight

heart beating quickly

as my cheeks remain dry in your name.
