Nor the villain with power and fear

I'm just the extra in the sidelines...

I'll be forgotten, and disappear.

You definitely have something going here! I think the climactic peak of the poem really is the second last line, in the sense that I don't think the last line is needed to sum everything up, for your excerpt of the song (or script of the musical) is what's going to help readers pin the reference and meaning. I'd suggest taking out that last line, and seeing how it reads to your ear (to me it's much better, and it has a far more powerful ending without it). Well done!
