Desert RoseA Poem by Patrick O'NeilTo receive inspiration.
A blessing and perfect gift.
Rain that falls, on barren earth.
Cools and refreshes,
gives hope, of rebirth.
It reaches deep, touches everything.
Turns a puddle into a stream,
a river, to shape the earth, and wash it clean.
To be inspiration.
Miracle and magical splendor.
A flower that blooms.
Despite, were it was sown.
Standing strong and independent.
In a wasteland, a beacon of greater truth,
for all the world to see.
How things are, but really,
how they could be.
In presence of Your wonder.
I only, pray for rain.
With hope, to one day be,
to you, as you, are to me.
Desert Rose!
Beautiful inspiration, amazing serenity.
