In Him I Trust

The days I fear, unknown they are,

In Him I trust, though distance far.

I am called out from those around;

To His loving arms, I am bound.

In faith I walk, though I stumble;

Weak am I, for faith I fumble.

But I do know, of days to come;

For this the pain will soon be numb.

My journey’s path, I do not know;

In Him I trust, I am brought low.

You cannot damn, for His I am;

He has assured, He is I AM.

My Journey’s end has been made known;

In paradise, for He has shown.

Though weak I am, in faith I fail;

He has confirmed with every nail.

My body torn, my soul at peace-

In Him I trust, this pain release.
