Time

Time

A Poem by Bethany Woody

Time

is not

long enough

for us.

Forever

eternity

lost in the years

trying to

define

my love

through touch.

Always

everlasting

somewhere beyond

reality

searching for

salvation

in your feelings

for me.

Time

is not

long enough

for us.

Very beautiful and well-written. We can become so absorbed in chasing some future outcome, it's easy to lose sight of the joy and beauty found right here in this present moment. Nice writing.

How funny i posted a piece called time today. LOL

Finding yourself a victim to the cold mistress of time. The world moves to fast and there is never a pause button or rewind to be able recapture moments that we wish to last forever. Time stands still for no one. I loved your words here and you describe something that most have felt and have known.

Wonderfully Done!!!
