Into The Madness

Into The Madness

A Poem by Bethany Woody

Catch me as I fall
into the madness,
So I know you are there
and that it's not all over.

I know I can stop the pain
if I will it all away.
Don't turn away from me
because I can't hide my fears.

Scream your name
and close my eyes.
Don't turn out the light
can't sleep, can't eat in the darkness.

There's so much more yet to come
but frightened by all I see.
Blinded by tears
I can't stop from falling.

Wake to an empty bed
with whispered dreams inside my head.
Can't forsake you,
all that I've lived for.

"Can`t forsake you , all that I have lived for"
Just be decent to him, Beth.
Your poem is intense, painful and sad.
Well written.
