Smiles

Smiles

A Poem by Quasi Azuaqi
"

the power of positivity :)

"
I’m passing by
And I meet your eyes
And no, this is not
A love story, my
Your vacant eyes nearly
Brush away soon
Before I smile
And you’re confused

I light up like
I’ve lived my days
And I’m satisfied
With the world I’ve made
Like I’m surrounded by
Floating lights and stars
And you and I
We’ve come so far

I light up like
We’re in a place
Of happy souls
And beaming rays
Like the sun’s come out
From a hidden cage
And it’s shining on us
Just you and me

While I don’t know you
I smile wide
And I light up for
No reason at all
And you look at me
And you smile
Now look how you’ve lit up
For no reason at all
