These demons
have been bled -
All the colours
of rosewood and
saffron tinting
the flesh of fingertips.
And still
some crawl in crevices
of this body,
ghosts floating in 
walls of bones.
I once had wanted

an empty vessel,
a conscience so clean
it did not
exist, but -

The east brings the day
and the night.
