Sea spray

A Poem by Grim-As-Ever

The sea spray

lingering on cracked lips and silver tongues

tastes of memory and regret

dreams swept away by the ever rolling tide

love snatched suddenly from fumbling fingers

by the soaring gulls

gliding out of sight and sound
