Just Like Me

Alone, scared, missing everyone that i love deeply and i cant live without them...They saved me everyday..

I took a drive this morning

It was cloudy and gloomy out

Just like me..

It starts to rain

Like the sky can’t stop crying

Just like me..

The wind is blowing heavily

Blowing things over and knocking things down

Just like me..

We are in the middle of a storm

Because mother nature is unhappy

Just like me..

How will we get through

The city is in need of a savior

Just like me..

I look up in a tree

And the birds are alone

Just like me..

Please strike lightning

Because this place is in need of light

Just like me..

The sun starts to shine

And the sky is blue

Just like me..

It’s the end of the day

And the storm has been taken away

Just like me..
