Scared of letting someone close to me because idk who I am..

The best advise I have to give you

Is to stay away

From this girl that doesn’t know who she is

Or where she is heading in life

“Your beautiful”

Yeah, a beautiful disaster..

Just waiting to crash and burn

I’ve always said its not fair to have someone wait

I’m not asking for anyone to hang on

What I am telling you

Is to stay away

From this girl that is full of fear

And scared to walk her path

I’m hanging off the edge

And I am losing grip of the rope

My hands are slipping

I look up at anyone

And I ask “cut the rope”

And say goodbye

Before you think of pulling me up

All I have to say

Is to stay away

From the girl that is standing in the middle of a hurricane..

I like how the concept of this is wrapped around the fact that you don't want anything to happen to anyone else. You have been through so much, but instead of telling them to stay away so you can wallow in your despair, you are telling them to stay away for their own safty. My favorite passage was

Perhaps the winds of the hurricane are protecting you while you are trying to find your answers.
