Tonight

I was just sitting at home

And I was on the verge of tears

I had to leave the room because I was breaking down

I crawled into my bed

And I just let every bit of me out

I couldn’t breathe

I was crying so hard

I hugged myself so tightly

Imagining you were with me

What would you do if you saw me crying

I hope you would hug me

And won’t let me go until you know I’m okay

I should be happy..

But I am so scared baby..

So I ask you tonight

Please be with me and tell me everything is alright

And never let me go….

I had to leave the room because I was breaking down - The line doesn't quite work for me. It feels a bit random, and then it puzzles for a minute because you left one room that we didn't know you were in. If that makes sense.
Otherwise I could feel your emotion. Well done on that.

I can relate to this poem SO MUCH right now. Everything you wrote is going on in my life right now.
Anywho, before I began to venting, this is a really great poem. You did a really awesome job on this. The flow is nice and you can really feel the pain the narrator is going through.
