Lies

My whole body
Is always hit with lies

One after another..

And I never swim in the truth

Now I’m running

From everything that’s tries to get close..

Its all your fault

Because you fed me lies

Every inch of you is unbelievable

The biggest lie you told me was

That you would never hurt me..

But you have since the beginning

I thought you could fix things

But all you did was make them worse..

You just dug the wound deeper

You finally got me

Don’t be proud

Because you lied your way in..

And deep down in my heart

I know you haven’t left me yet

You’ll begin to miss me in a few days

And start to lie to me again..

To suck me into your games

But not this time

I’m walking away

And never looking back..

Great line. Ive been the victim of lies more times than I care to admit... so this poem held a special significance when I read it. I enjoyed it very much. As always, thank you for sharing. : )

This poem is very emotional but true indeed. there are a lot of guys in this world who lie there way in.but if we look closely to what we really want is true love and trust,there are wonderful men who will give you that only if you really want.when theres so many lies we tend to put a shield around us to protect us from all this but when the right one comes you'll know in your heart and mind. wonderful writing thank you for sharing this with me.
